A WOMAN has been charged with the murder of a four-year-old boy.
Cops were called to a flat in Plumstead, South London just before 8am yesterday after the boy's lifeless body was found.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene despite the efforts of paramedics.
A woman – aged in her 30s and related to the boy – was arrested at the house and taken into custody.
She was charged with the boy's murder yesterday, and appeared at Bromley Magistrates' Court today.
She was remanded to appear at the Old Bailey on Wednesday.
Cops have not named the boy or the woman, and said investigations into the death are ongoing.
A post-mortem will be held on Thursday.
