Maya Jama and Stormzy have been snapped enjoying a romantic stroll in Greece as they confirm that they are back together, after months of rumours.
The loved-up duo were photographed hand-in-hand, after observant fans realised they were both enjoying a holiday at the same resort in the Aegean.
For the occasion, Maya, 29, sported a black bikini top and white midi skirt, accessorising further with a wide-brimmed straw hat and a pair of glamourous Grecian sandals. Meanwhile, Stormzy, 30, donned a white vest and matching shorts.
Amid rumours of their reunion it was reported that the grime artist had flown out to meet Love Island hostess Maya while she was holiday in Greece.
An inside source later claimed that the couple's break in Greece is Stormzy's "romantic" birthday gift to Maya, who turned 29 earlier this month.
The insider told The Sun: "Stormzy is mad for Maya and has spent huge amounts of money taking her on a luxury holiday."
They added: "He chartered a private jet to Greece then they flew into the resort by helicopter. It’s all very romantic. The Amanzoe is incredibly pricey and they’ve been waited on hand and foot.
"It was Maya’s birthday earlier this month and this trip is a bit of a belated birthday present from Stormzy to Maya. She means the world to him and he wants her to be treated like a queen."
Maya and Stormzy dated for four years, before splitting in 2019, with the grime artist having previously opened up on his difficult feelings following their break-up.
In an interview withLouis Theroux,Stormzy compared losing his ex-girlfriend Maya Jama to "actual death.”
He said: "My break-up, that was probably the biggest catalyst for growth as a man. I was like: 'Ok, you've made a mistake, and you [lost] someone you love, someone you cared for, someone that is special to you.
“That's probably the biggest loss a man can have. Away from someone passing away, away from actual death, that's the biggest loss you can have."
While he didn’t go into the reasoning behind the split, Stormzy admitted he didn’t appreciate his former partner at the time.
"There were other things in terms of mistakes I’d made," he admitted. "I didn’t do what a man should do to fully appreciate, love and care for his woman."
After their break-up, Maya later got engaged to NBA star Ben Simmons, but the pair have since called it off and split up.
