- However, after they took over the internet, he mysteriously deleted them
- Now, he has claimed that he removed them because of the actors’ strike
Meghan Markle’s former Suits costar Patrick J. Adams has apologized for sharing a series of never-before-seen snaps of the Duchess on set, claiming that they posed as a ‘distraction’ from the actors’ strike and calling it an ’embarrassing oversight.’
Patrick, who starred as Meghan’s love interest in the USA legal drama from 2011 until she left in 2017, sent fans into a frenzy earlier this week when he posted a number of intimate photos of Meghan from when they were making the series together.
However, after the previously unreleased images of the mother-of-three quickly took over the internet, Patrick mysteriously deleted them all from his feed.
Now, the actor, 42, has claimed that the reason he removed them was because he felt it was not appropriate amid SAG-AFTRA’s battle with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers.

On the SAG-AFTRA Strike’s website, it does state that members should not share ‘photos, videos,’ or any ‘social media posts’ that ‘promote struck work or struck companies.’
‘This includes work done in the past. Streamers and networks are directing fans to past content to fill the void resulting from the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes,’ it added.
‘Your influence carries weight with your fans. Let’s stand in solidarity together now to promote our cause so that we can promote each other’s projects in the future after we’ve won a fair contract.’
