MANCHESTER UNITED need to quickly bounce back from their derby day disappointment when Eddie Howe's Newcastle visit in the Carabao Cup on Wednesday.

Manchester United vs Newcastle preview
Erik ten Hag is the third favourite to leave his post next in the Premier League.
To ease some of the pressure growing on him after Sunday's derby defeat, the Dutchman knows they must progress through this round.
It's a repeat of the final from earlier this year, and with Man City knocked out by Wednesday night's opponents Newcastle, it has opened the door again for one of these sides to go all the way.
The defending champions of this competition were dire at the weekend but Gary Neville reckoned one of their best performances of the season came in the last round in the win over Crystal Palace, when youngsters and fringe players were given a chance.
Both of these sides have faced hectic schedules with Champions League football in there, and it would be no surprise to see two much-changed sides.
Newcastle's draw at Wolves on Sunday means they've only won one of their last four, and another long cup run is a huge deal to the 7,000 traveling Geordies and the rest watching at home.

The midfielder has been absent through injury for much of the season before making his reappearance last week.
Got minutes in the legs in the Dortmund loss and another 20 minutes in the game at Molineux.
Will be hoping to make up for lost time here and the cup allows Howe to rotate and no surprise to see him in from the start and in amongst the goals.

There was just a little bit too much going on in that loss to Man City on Sunday and not sure sure enough time has passed for a big turnaround here.
Erik ten Hag doesn't know his best team yet so it's hard to predict what sort of line up will be picked.
That said, one or two big hitters will sit out and it'd be no surprise to see Eddie Howe's men capitalise.
A draw isn't out the question, which is why the safer pick of qualification for the next round has been selected as the safer bet.

Talking of not sure what team should be picked, Sergio Reguilon was left on the bench on Sunday with centre back Victor Lindelof preferred at left back.
It might look a bit more normal come Wednesday and Reguilon – freshly back from injury and looked good before that setback – should come back in.
Will find it tough on first game back up against Almiron likely and cards possible.
