Jane Hazlegrove arrived on the cobbled streets of Coronation Street as Gemma Winter's mum Bernie in 2019.
Fast becoming a fan-favourite, Jane's portrayal of Bernie captured the hearts of the nation, with viewers falling in love with her witty and funny one-liners.
In the beloved Manchester-based soap opera, the loud-mouthed mum of twins Paul and Gemma, and gran of her daughter's quadruplets, hasn't had it easy.

Bernie has an on-and-off romance with local business owner Dev Alahan and had her identity stolen and criminalised thanks to her "doppelganger" – but thankfully actor Jane's life is a little more laidback and lovely.
Away from the cobbles the 54-year-old actress, who fans might remember as Dixie from Casualty, has been married since 2015 and is very much loved up.
Happily wed to fellow soap opera actress Isobel Middleton, Jane actually spoke of her "beautiful" wife in 2019 when she appeared on a chat show.
Appearing on ITV Daytime's Lorraine, the Bernie actress gave fans an insight into her wedded bliss when she opened up about her private life with her loving wife.
She also spoke of how the pair have never acted alongside one another, which she claims to be the reason for their long-lasting romance.
"We’ve not [worked alongside each other], which is probably why we’re still together. She’s sensational, a really beautiful woman. I am very blessed," she said on the much-loved programme.
Jane's wife Isobel has popped up in rival soap operas, with Isobel even popping up in Emmerdale on three separate occasions as a different person each time.
In 2014 during her stint in the village, Isobel portrayed Doctor Lane; while in 2018 she played the role of a prosecution barrister during Simon McManus's trial; and in 2020 she took on the role of Jean Rawson.
And as well as showing her face in the Dales, she's rocked up on Albert Square too – something eagle-eyed soap fans might remember.
Two decades ago back in 2002 Isobel portrayed Sadie Banks in the hit BBC One soap.
Isobel hasn't just had minor soap stints though, because she has a glowing back catalogue of TV credits.
In the 1990s she starred in the ITV detective thriller Cracker alongside Robbie Coltrane, and has also appeared in the likes of The Ruth Rendle Mysteries, The Bill and like her wife, Casualty too.
One of her latest roles however is on the Channel 5 drama Compulsion as Dr Wilhemina Medlock.
And her acting isn't limited to on-screen, because she has also starred as Beatrice in a production of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing in 2019.
