Neighbours viewers have taken to social media to share their verdict as the Australian soap returned to screens months after it got axed.
The end of the first episode back on Monday (September 18) saw Toadie Rebecchi (Ryan Moloney) and Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou) getting married, a twist fans did not see coming.
Toadie tied the knot wit MEl (Lucinda Cowden) in the finale episode last year so what has happened to make the newlyweds become an item?

Fans at home were left gobsmacked at the wedding twist and rushed to their keyboards to discuss the debut episode of Neighbours: New Chapter.
One fan penned: "I love the new-look #Neighbours! It feels new but with the same old familiar characters we know and love. The wedding twist though! I can’t get my head around it, I need to know when, how and why! It’s so good to finally have #Neighbours back.
Another added: "Welcome back #Neighbours and what a magnificent twist!."
A third person posted: "What!!! That ending…that twist….so many questions #neighbours is officially back."
While a fourth social media user said: "Wtf.omg what is happening?????? I can’t even work out the twist, it surely can’t be that, it must be even bigger!!!!! I’m so confused hurry up Tuesday!!! I thought it was gona be a longer first episode. OMG "
Elsewhere on Ramsay Street, mysterious newcomer Reece (Misha Barton) made a glamorous entrance to the Lassiter’s Hotel with a host of shopping bags, before a steamy scene in a lift with hotel employee Byron Stone (Xavier Molyneux).

Later, they were in her hotel bedroom together when Byron quizzed Reece on why she is in Melbourne, having travelled from New Hampshire in the US and stayed for three weeks.
She later mysteriously ignores a call from her father while at the hotel.
Fans will have to wait and see what brings Reece Down Under.
