A man who won a £3.5million mansion overlooking Gleneagles golf course after entering the £10 Omaze prize draw says it is ‘a dream come true’.
The winner of the latest Omaze Million Pound House Draw – the first to be held in Scotland – was announced as Jon from Berkshire.
No further details were given about the winner but he revealed he is a regular to Omaze’s charity house raffles. ‘I’m a subscriber so I never miss a draw. It’s such an easy way to give money to charity. It’s absolutely a dream come true.’
Jon will get the keys to the six bedroom property which comes complete with its own entertainment room, leisure suite, cinema room, guest annexe and golf simulator.
The new owner can live in, rent out or sell the house near Auchterarder, Perthshire, and will also receive £100,000.

The draw raised £1.8 million for charity Breast Cancer Now to help continue its research and support people affected by the disease.
The total was announced in a video filmed at the Gleneagles property by Omaze.
Sally Kum, associate director of nursing at Breast Cancer Now, said: ‘£1 million means that we could fund 33,000 hours of research. Having gone way beyond that is amazing.
‘The impact of breast cancer is wide and varied so we are here to support people in whatever way they need.’
The contemporary property is set within over half an acre of gardens and grounds. It comes mortgage free, with all stamp duty and legal fees covered.
If the winner decides to rent it out, estate agents estimate it could bring in around £7,500 a month.
The heart of the home is an ornate open plan kitchen and dining area that opens onto the south-facing garden with sliding doors.
The room is further complimented by a cosy lounge space, connected to the dining area by a double sided fireplace.
