OMG this is truly rich! Not only is David Eason a total monster who kills dogs… he’s also a s**tty husband in all the boring, run-of-the-mill ways??
On the same day we learn Jenelle Evans‘ scary hubby is being charged with child abuse amid the investigation into Jace‘s allegations, we get a completely unrelated accusation from his ex. And the lady has receipts!
Whitney Rich, the mother of David’s 16-year-old daughter Maryssa, spilled to The US Sun that David has been secretly sending her messages of longing — behind Jenelle’s back! Oh man, the Teen Mom alum is going to be PISSED!
The texts David allegedly sent Whitney, who has been married to a man named Shane Rich for years btw, are downright scandalous! He wrote:
“You were perfect. You just deserve so much better than everything you’ve been through. That’s why it makes me so sad. I think about it so much and I dream about you all the time.”
“I dream about you all the time”??? No. Effing. Way.
Can you imagine if your husband wrote some s**t like that to his ex? We would be absolutely hopping! He continued:
“I don’t know how I ended up here instead of where I wanted to be. I don’t know how WE ended up here instead of where I wanted US to be. Don’t take that the wrong way I’m just so upset right now and I wish I could turn back the clock.”
He wishes he could TURN BACK THE CLOCK. Oof. He also added that he “should have done more to keep you.”
These messages were from May of last year, btw. Apparently David and Jenelle had been fighting, and he went right to his ex. Whitney told The US Sun she was “very shocked and surprised” — not just that Eason had said all that but that he’d messaged her at all. She explained the exes “had hardly communicated at all because Maryssa had a phone since she was eight years old”:
“So all my communication was through her other than maybe a handful of times. It was very surprising not to mention the fact that he was married, still married. I was married, still married.”
She added:
“It was inappropriate and very unexpected.”
In other texts David referred to the fighting, saying:
“Now I’m about to lose my family and my baby girl again for something I didn’t even do. I don’t understand why life is so cruel.”
Yeah, why would everyone treat him so poorly, it’s a mystery…
As for which specific mess that was, Whitney says:
“From what I can recall from then- they were on the verge of separating. I’m not sure what it was over, but they had been fighting at the time and he made it sound like they were on the verge of splitting up. I know that was also around the time that she started her OnlyFans. I don’t know if that had something to do with it.”
Considering Eason has been accused of spousal abuse, child abuse, assault, and oh yeah ANIMAL CRUELTY just since we’ve been aware of his existence, it could be a lot of things.
In any case, Whitney made clear she was not interested, tell the Sun:
“I left him in July of 2012, so I don’t want him dreaming about me.”
However, she got the distinct impression that, had she been more receptive to those messages, David would have tried to meet up with her in person:
“I’m sure he would have tried to see me, considering what he was saying.”
Damn! That’s a hell of a statement! But nothing happened — and he only messaged her one time since, a few days later:
“Then three days after these texts, because my birthday is always around Mother’s Day, he actually messaged, ‘I hope you had a Happy Mother’s Day.’ And I said ‘I did, thank you.’”
Despite nothing happening, Whitney was clear on something — if she were Jenelle she’d be furious:
“This would be the end of a relationship for most people. I think when you are with someone and they were married to someone else or in a long-term relationship with someone else, of course, that is the last person that you want them to be contacting, especially in that manner… When they’re laying in bed together and he’s dreaming about me all the time, that would hurt if I were Jenelle, I’d have to think about that too.”
She added:
“If this was my marriage, I’d be leaving him.”
Daaaaaaayum. She also brought up another point we hadn’t considered — this had been a decade since they’d broken up. There had been other women in his past, too:
“If he felt he could message me in this way, then you also have to wonder if he’s messaging other women like this.”
Ouch! All this on top of actual charges of abusing her own child! We wouldn’t be surprised if Jenelle does leave! And frankly if that does happen we’ll always wonder if it’s over the violence, the despicable damned violence… or these texts.
What do YOU think, Perezcious readers?? Would you leave over these texts? Do they count as cheating?? Let us know your thoughts in the comments (below)!
