Friends star Matthew Perry dies aged 54
The woman who played pickleball with Matthew Perry just hours before his tragic death has revealed she spotted signs that he wasn’t his normal self.
Prior to being found dead at his home in Los Angeles, Matthew, 54, had taken part in an hour-long hour pickleball session.
Extra host Billy Bush has taken to Instagram to reveal how the Friends star spent his final hours.
Posting to his 65, 000 followers he wrote alongside images of Matthew: “I spoke to the woman he played with this morning and every morning.
“She is in shock, adored Matt…she said he had been fatigued today and over the past week. A little more than usual. He played for one hour, then went home.”

Paying tribute to the actor, Billy wrote: “His legacy: hero to fellow sufferers. I think he won his battle with addiction but it was a Pyrrhic victory. It took everything out of him.
“To all of us he’s the guy you wanted to be friends with and to women…the perfect boyfriend. Everyone had a crush on Chandler Bing.
“That role came up and he met that opportunity with precision. He nailed it and his mark is indelible.”

Fans took to the comment section to share their thoughts. One fan wrote: “Matthew had the biggest heart on the planet. Thanks for the best and kindest words brother.”
A second added: “The world just lost a friend.”
A third wrote: “He brought so much light and laughter. I am deeply saddened by his passing. Rest easy Matthew!”

TMZ reported that Matthew’s assistant was sent to pick up a new iPhone and prescription glasses for him on Saturday.
When she returned two hours later she found Matthew unresponsive and immediately called 911.
Law enforcement claims 911 dispatched responders at around 4pm local time after a report of a cardiac arrest. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner is expected to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause.
