Strictly: Amy Dowden returns to show
After returning to Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday night, Amy Dowden is back in hospital for treatment for her stage three breast cancer.
The professional dancer took to her Instagram stories to update her 584,000 followers on her health battle.
The 33-year-old shared a snap of herself sitting in hospital as she got her chemotherapy treatment.
The brave BBC star could be seen with a huge smile on her face and held up six fingers to show she was having her sixth round of chemotherapy.
She wrote below the snap: “Chemo 6 prep.”

Amy also posted two side-by-side pictures, one with her “amazing” nurse and one of a TV in the background, where her previous Strictly celebrity partner Tom Fletcher could be seen appearing on Lorraine.
The Welsh native said: “Well the tele not too bad this morning on the chemo ward @tomfletcher.” (sic)
Amy was diagnosed with breast cancer in the spring and as a result, she announced earlier this year that she wouldn’t be competing with a celebrity on this year’s Strictly.
However, she surprised fans on Saturday night when she made an appearance on the show that made her a household name.

She appeared without her wig to announce the voting line numbers after the first dance and her loyal followers were thrilled.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter @machroi said: “Just burst into tears when Amy Dowden appeared on my screen. Keep fighting! #StrictlyComeDancing #strictly @bbcstrictly.” (sic)
