Cristiano Ronaldo exploded with rage on Tuesday night after a dubious VAR intervention chalked off his superb headed goal.
The Portuguese star, who scored twice from the spot and delivered an assist in the 4-0 win over Al-Shabab, had already broken the deadlock when the incident occurred.
A corner was whipped in from the left and Ronaldo rose in trademark fashion, powering his header back across goal past the keeper.
He wheeled away in celebration, before the referee was told by his video assistant to head to the monitor on the side of the pitch.
Upon further inspection, the official decided Ronaldo had created separation for his leap with a push off the defender.

Ronaldo was then seen shouting: ‘Always against me! F***ing hell!’
He went on to add another from the spot and may have felt that on another night he’d have been celebrating a hat-trick.
The 38-year-old was able to regain his focus, turning provider, sliding in Mane to finish coolly and make it 3-0 just before the break.
And it proved to be a comfortable win for the PIF funded club, who ran out 4-0 victors.
Sultan Al-Ghannam scored the final goal and Al-Nassr moved up to sixth, still six points behind leaders Al-Ittihad.
Ronaldo now has five goals in in his last two league games and sits top of the goalscoring charts.
