"His brain, the way it works as a holding midfielder, I’ve just been trying to pick up little things off him.
"He’s always in position, always knows when to pass, always creates time for himself. He’s an outstanding trainer and I’ve been trying to take little bits from his game as well."

Ivan Toney claim
Jay Bothroyd insists that he would love to see Arsenal land Brentford's Ivan Toney.
[Toney's] An A for me, he scores goals, he’s prolific, he's strong, he leads the line really well.
If you put him in one of the top teams he will score at least 20 Premier League goals per season.
Great on penalties, penalties he’s unbelievable. If you took him to someone like Arsenal, I would love Arsenal to sign him now.
I think he would score more goals than [Gabriel] Jesus, than Ollie Watkins, in the Premier League.

Major historic change
Sky Sports and TNT Sports are hoping to make a series of changes to their in-game coverage of the Premier League.
TNT Sports, formerly BT Sport, introduced some unique features ahead of Arsenal's game with Nottingham Forest last month.
In one instance, presenter Jules Breach and Ally McCoist spoke to the Gunners' captain Martin Odegaard at the entrance to the Emirates.
Breach also completed a link in the tunnel during half-time while the players returned to the pitch.
The changes proved to be a roaring success among fans, so both TNT Sports and Sky Sports are now keen to implement new features to enhance the in-game experience.
According to The Daily Mail, in-game interviews and cameras in the dressing rooms could soon become the norm.

Arsenal youngster Tim Akinola has left the Emirates to sign for Qatari outfit Al-Bidda.

During a session in 2021, the 22-year-old went flying into a 50-50 challenge with Partey.
The Ghana international is claimed to have initially reacted angrily towards the over-exuberant youngster.
But the 30-year-old's stance later softened, going on to describe Akinola as the "strongest" player he'd competed with.

Parlour's Man City claim
Arsenal legend Ray Parlour insists the Invincibles would beat Manchester City's Treble winners.
Parlour told Lord Ping: Red Or Black?
I'd have to say [Kevin] De Bruyne would make our team.
When he's on the ball, you know something's going to happen, just ask [Erling] Haaland! We had Dennis Bergkamp, who was similar, but you could give De Bruyne a free role in the side and great things would happen.
Haaland would be another one, but we had Thierry Henry. Pep Guardiola would have loved [Patrick] Viera. He was so important. If not him, Sol Campbell. He'd strengthen any back four.
It's very hard to judge how a game between them would go. I think we'd give City a game and just nick it.
I think 2-1 to Arsenal. You could go back to Manchester United's 1999 team or [Jose] Mourinho's first Chelsea teams as they were very good as well.

Timber left out
Jurrien Timber has missed out on Arsenal's Champions League squad.
Timber, 22, arrived at the Emirates following a £40million arrival from Ajax.
But the centre-back agonisingly damaged his anterior cruciate ligament last month against Nottingham Forest and is set to be sidelined until the New Year.
The Gunners have been unable to bring in a replacement and thus Cedric Soares and fellow defender Lino Sousa, 18, are in for him.
But it is not all doom and gloom for the Netherlands international with regards to his hopes of appearing in the Champions League final at Wembley on June 1.
Timber will almost certainly be added to the squad in January should Arsenal make it through to the knockout stage and he suffers no setbacks.
