EastEnders fans were left confused by a “blunder” after Stacey Slater’s explicit photos were posted around Albert Square.
As viewers will know, Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis) has been stalking and harassing Stacey (Lacey Turner) for months. And in Monday’s episode (October 2) the stalker ramped things up and continued his vile behaviour.
Within minutes of the BBC soap airing, viewers saw Martin Fowler (James Bye) walk outside of his house to find posters of Stacey all over the square. The saucy snap was taken from when Stacey was on the OnlyFans inspired-platform Secret Cam.

Martin straight away ripped down as many of the pictures as he could. He then recruited his family and friends to help take them down.
He eventually headed round to Stacey's and showed her the photos – leaving her horrified. She wasn't planning on heading to court for the Stalking Protection Order heading – but she changed her tune after Theo's latest stint.
But fans watching the soap couldn’t help but point out a major blunder. Rushing over to X, formerly known as Twitter, plenty noted how CCTV would have picked up who posted the snaps.
One fan fumed: “It's 2023 and you would think Albert Square would have a number of CCTV around!” Someone else said: “the whole country has CCTV except Walford.”
A third quipped: “Wouldn’t the vic or laundrette have cctv? Or even the street cameras? All places have them.” Another viewer penned: “Why does nobody in Walford have CCTV or ring doorbells. Everything would be solved so easily if they did. That alleyway by the pub would get loads of stuff for starters!”

Meanwhile at court, the entire Slaters clan burst into the courtroom just as the cops were laying out the case against Theo. The judge was only interested in the "hard facts" though – despite Stacey standing up and detailing everything that Theo had done to her.
Sadly, the Stalking Protection Order was rejected and soap alum Stacey was left heartbroken over the result.
