Ant jokes hugs from Sam are ‘too much for me’
ITV viewers were less than impressed with the latest Bucktucker Trial on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! last night, labelling it “boring” and “pointless.”
Nella Rose and Sam Thompson were the latest celebrities to be voted to face the Bushtucker Trial in order to win stars for camp.
The challenge involved Sam swimming in a pool of insects and bugs in order to find stars, whilst Nella was in a submerged glass box reading out questions to him.
Fans were left fuming over how “boring” the trial was and made their opinions heard on X, formally known as Twitter.
One person typed: “Nella just stood in a box and read questions. Sam did all the hard work. This wasn’t a 2 person trial.”

A second commented: “@imacelebrity why did Nella do basically nothing and Sam did the majority of the task? Now she is exempt *shock*.”
A third said: “Yeah she still didn’t do anything it’s not nella’s fault the trial was just boring should have been just a one person one.”
A fourth chimed in: “I reckon it was meant to be a one person challenge but the Producers switched it at the last minute and decided to bring #Sam in. #Nella did absolutely nothing #ImaCelebrity Producers have decided to go easy on her.”

A fifth also similarly said: “Sam did well, no idea why Nella was even there, she just stood there. Why did they need two, A&D could have read the questions.”
A sixth penned: “Who decides who does what in the trial? Highly unfair that Sam has to do all the work while Nella the Ultimate Game Player just chills and reads out questions. Massive fix #ImACeleb.”
The pair claimed 10 out of a possible 12 stars in the trial.
As they returned to camp, Nella said: “They’re going to be so proud, they’re going to be really happy that we’re going to be eating well tonight.
“Biggest fear – spiders. I don’t like being underground or underwater, but I did it.”
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! continues tonight at 9pm on ITV and ITVX.
