I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Jamie Lynn Spears has finally addressed her much-publicised feud with her superstar sister Britney Spears in the latest instalment of the ITV reality show.
The actress-singer, 32, initially kept tight-lipped on her history and rocky family relations in the first instalment.
As things continue to progress in the jungle, mum-of-two Jamie Lynn opened up to new campmate, French chef and First Dates star Fred Sirieix.
Chatting while Jamie Lynn relaxed in a hammock, Fred asked the American star where she lived.
“I live in the country. We have like 180 acres," she replied, as Fred continued: “Wow, like a ranch? Your sister is obviously a superstar, you’re a superstar, why? How come the both of you, what made it?”
Misunderstanding Fred's question, Jamie Lynn assumed the Frenchman had been probing her on why she and her sister fell out.
“I think every family fights and has their stuff but I talked to her before I came here and we love each other," the Zoey 101 actress explained.
“But the both of you became so famous and so big…" Fred went on, and Jamie Lynn reflected on the Spears' sisters' childhoods.
“Oh, I always say this. My momma, not in a cocky way at all, my mom literally believed we were the best in the world," she recalled. "I think we grew up, all we ever did was sing and dance, that was our whole household, that’s how we were.
"We auditioned for a show called ‘All That’ and that’s when I was on ‘All That’ for three years before I did Zoey [101]. It was very successful."
Jamie Lynn went on to talk about getting pregnant so young, and the massive scandal it caused in the media at the time.
"The whole world was like, ‘You’re a s**t, you’re horrible your life is over…’” Jamie Lynn remembered sadly, but insisted that her parents were supportive despite feeling "sad" she was in that situation.
The campmate went on to say that she ended up going away to "hide" because the press were "relentless" in their pursuit of her. What's more, even in Mississippi with a giant gate surrounding her she still had 20 paparazzi "on her every day" and they refused to leave her alone.
The star explained that all she wanted was to be normal and for her little girl, Maddie, who is now 15, to have a "normal" life.
Getting teary as she continued to open up about her past history in her family, Jamie Lynn said that she planned to "emancipate" from her parents so she could be in control and make her own decisions with her child.
“I’m proud of where I’m at now," the star later admitted in the Bush Telegraph. "I don’t share it in a way of being sad or crying about it, but it’s like, I don’t know, I just… I’m really thankful.”
