The Chase star Shaun Wallace has praised his co-star Jenny Ryan after she announced a new job away from the show.
Both Shaun and Jenny have become household names in the UK, as they take on hopeful contestants in the aim of showing their intellectual might. But off-screen, the Dark Destroyer and the Vixen are close pals, often supporting each other throughout their careers.
Shaun and Jenny are joined on the hit ITV quiz show by Mark Labbett, Anne Hegarty, Darragh Ennis and Paul Sinha. Together, the team tries to stop contestants from winning a potentially huge cash prize.

But now, Shaun has paid tribute to his co-star Jenny, as he took to social media to celebrate her major career move. In a video on his Instagram, Shaun beamed to his more than 40k followers: "What a legend this woman is!"
"Don’t forget to go and see how scary she really can be as the Wicked Queen in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Darlington Hippodrome," he exclaimed. Shaun then joked: "Maybe I should do panto next year?"
Jenny announced that she would be swapping the studio for the theatre during pantomime season. Jenny, who is no stranger to the stage, will take on the role of evil baddie the Wicked Queen in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
Fans of Shaun and of the Chase soon swarmed Jenny with positive comments and also gave Shaun support for his own potential career move. One fan wrote: "Morning Shaun and Jenny, perhaps you could do a pantomime together! Have a great day both of you."
A second user also took to the comments section to say: "I'd say you would be good at that, Shaun. Any live show will do you perfectly!" followed by a series of love heart emojis.
Whilst a third fan jumped to gush over Shaun's potential move: "You'd be great in panto Shaun, you should definitely do it next year. And no doubt Jenny will absolutely smash it as the Wicked Queen."
Jenny has been adding more strings to her bow, after performing a one-woman show at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival earlier this year. She is set to star in the show at the Darlington Hippodrome from December 8 to December 31.
