POLICE are urgently searching for a ten-year-old girl who vanished after school.

Marissa was last seen at around 3.20pm yesterday in Hessle in the East Riding of Yorkshire.

Humberside Police have now launched an appeal to find the youngster.

The force said Marissa is white, 5ft tall, of a slim build and has long brown hair below her shoulders with a fringe.

She is believed to be wearing a black coat, bottle green jumper, dark coloured trousers and black shoes.

Officers confirmed this morning Marissa is still missing as they re-issued their appeal.

A spokesperson said: "Can you help us find missing Marissa, age 10, from Hessle?

"If you have seen Marissa or know where she is, please call 101 quoting log 355 of 23 October.”
