Pregnant Laura Anderson reveals she is overdue as she awaits babys arrival

It's the moment that Love Island fanatics across the nation have been waiting for – 2018 contestant and fan-favourite Laura Anderson is finally due to welcome her baby girl any minute now.

However, the 34 year old ex-islander revealed on Sunday that her incoming addition – and first child – doesn't plan on making an appearance anytime soon and that Laura is now considered 'overdue'.

Taking to Instagram to give her 1.5 million followers a pregnancy update, the Scottish beauty – who is expecting the youngster with Hollyoaks ex partner Gary Lucy – shared a jaw-dropping snap, showing off her blossoming baby bump in a set of black co-ords.

"My face realising I'm overdue thinking… Please don't have a big head, please don't have a big head, please don't have a big head," she hilarious captioned the stunning photo, which was taken by Glasgow based photographer @fmphotos.

Laura – who last week unveiled a gold cast of her pregnant body as she prepared to give birth – added: "See you on the stretched side m********s".

A second black and white snap saw the first-time-mum-to-be beaming at her bump.

Many of the star's fellow ex-islanders were quick to pledge their support to her during her last few days of pregnancy, including new mum herself Shaughna Phillips, who commented on the snap: "You’re gonna be amazing darling! Can’t wait to see her."

Laura's 2018 co-star Kendall Rae Knight also added: "Your caption. Good luck gorgeous girl!"

Earlier this week, the blonde bombshell shared a photo of herself bouncing on a gym ball in hopes of inducing labour, as she shared her thoughts on becoming a new parent.

The star shared that she’d been using the exercise ball and drinking a special tea after having a sweep earlier that day.

Laura shared a mirror selfie from her living room as she wrote: "Hate this bloody ball & this tea tbh but I had a sweep today not something I thought I'd get but gave it a bash."

She added: "Thank you all for your messages just giving those interested a lil I update. No doubt I'II be quiet on here for a bit as life is sort of standing still at mo, trying to enjoy the calm but it's hard."

Laura announced her pregnancy in February, just weeks after she and actor beau Gary met on the 2022 series of Celebs Go Dating.

However, the duo sadly split after only a handful of months.

In recent days, the pair are reported to have been spotted at a Scottish hotel together suggesting they may have rekindled their romance.
