Unbeaten Cheltenham Festival superstar OUT of huge seasonal return due to injury | The Sun

UNBEATEN Cheltenham Festival superstar A Dream To Share is OUT of his seasonal return with a stone bruise.

The John Kiely-trained sensation was unbeaten in five bumper races last season, including the Festival feature and at Punchestown.

He was set to return to Punchestown for his debut over hurdles on Wednesday with a new jockey in the saddle.

But he was ruled out on Tuesday with a stone bruise, as confirmed by JP McManus' racing manager Frank Berry.

Part of A Dream To Share's story last season was that he was ridden by teenage amateur jockey John Gleeson.

Son of the five-year-old gelding's former owner and ITV Racing personality Brian, he steered the horse to all his victories.

Billionaire racing supremo McManus bought A Dream To Share just before the Festival and kept John in the saddle.

But he had been replaced by Mark Walsh for his now-aborted hurdles debut.
