Emmerdale fans work out Christmas pregnancy twist as steamy affair continues

Emmerdale: Caleb Milligan confronts Kim with Cain

Emmerdale fans think there’s an unexpected pregnancy storyline on the horizon involving Tracey Metcalfe (played by Amy Walsh). Viewers saw the village resident return to the ITV soap earlier this year as she married Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter).

Married life hasn’t been an easy start for the couple as they’ve had their fair share of family drama and money struggles. However, things took a turn in recent scenes when Tracy shared a kiss with Nate’s uncle Caleb Milligan (William Ash).

Although Tracy and Caleb initially acted as though it was a one-off, it soon became clear that was far from the truth. During Thursday night’s episode of the show, fans saw the family enjoy Cain Dingle’s (Jeff Hordley) birthday at the Woolpack.

However, the pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other and snuck off for a secret kiss, while Nate remained none the wiser. Later on in the episode, viewers watched in horror as they snuck off to sleep together.

As Tracey went back to the pub, following her secret rendezvous with Caleb, she and Nate then headed home. With both Caleb and Nate both in the picture, people think Tracey will soon find herself pregnant.

Due to her sleeping with both men, viewers took to Twitter to share their thoughts as many believe they’ve figured out an upcoming storyline in the ITV soap.

Taking to Twitter to share their thoughts, @pam_debeauvoir commented: “Tracey & Caleb don’t respect themselves very much. Please don’t tell me there’s another, ‘who’s the daddy, storyline,’ it’s not necessary #Emmerdale.”

Agreeing, @PJDavies1962 added: “Wonder if Tracey will get pregnant in time for Christmas said absolutely everybody,” with user @Russoalex1992 replying: “And it’ll be another “Who’s the daddy? storyline.”

@Dbella91 thought the same as they commented: “Definitely gonna be who the daddy storyline next year Tracey / Nate / Caleb.”

Reeling at the storyline, @samanthaaa0202 fumed: “This affair storyline between Tracy and Caleb is horrendous.” As @mikepriestley13 added: “This affair is one of the most pointless storylines between Tracy and Caleb.”

@aura_jones agreed as they commented “#emmerdale Tracey is so sickening. Warning Caleb not to hurt Nate is a joke.” Although it seems as though the affair is set to continue.

It looks as though the secret relationship isn’t stopping anytime soon as official spoilers for the soap reveal Caleb starts to grow envious of Nate’s relationship with Tracy. Wanting to spoil his romantic plans with his wife, Caleb invents a job for his nephew to do.

With Nate away, it’s not long before Tracy and Caleb find themselves in yet another embrace. However, as her husband unexpectedly makes his way to the Mill, will their affair get exposed?

It’s not just Tracy’s relationship that has caused a stir in the village as David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) learned his step-son Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) had got romantically involved with his ex Victoria Barton ( Isabel Hodgins).

Not able to come to terms with the betrayal, he decided it was time to leave the village and be with his daughter Amba (Ava Jayasinghe) in London. After an emotional goodbye, he decided to disown Jacob as he told him to no longer call him dad.

Actor Matthew Wolfenden has been part of Emmerdale for nearly 20 years and has been involved in some harrowing storylines. Although the soap star revealed the door has been left open for his character to return in the future.

Emmerdale continues weeknights on ITV from 7:30pm.
