KARDASHIAN fans have theorized why Kim brought her daughter to the Met Gala.
In a recent episode of The Kardashians, Kim, 43, brought North, 10, to New York to watch her prepare for the luxurious fashion event.
While hanging out in a hotel room during episode nine of the Hulu original series, North had high hopes she would be invited one day.
"I'd love to be honored at the met gala… 2024," she said.
Instead of walking up the famous Met stairs, North hung out with Kim's team and the pre-teen's cousin, Penelope Disick, 11.
They had a fashion party of their own watching the live streams and being brutally honest about guests' outfits.
Fans think that scene was included in the show because Kim is trying to "create hype" around her eldest daughter's possible invitation in the future.
The Met Gala has a strict age policy as no one under the age of 18 can attend.
'ALL OVER THE IDEA'
One KarJenner follower shared their theory on a popular Kardashians internet forum.
They wrote: I really think that’s the most probable explanation for ep 9. She says too ‘Met Gala 2024’ and I know that was supposed to be a joke/funny moment, but I think that’s what they’re aiming for.

"I think she probably expressed an interest in it at some point, and Kim and Kris were probably all over the idea as they saw the potential for marketability (‘iconic’, ‘youngest person to be invited to the met’).
"My guess is that this episode was supposed to create hype and some sort of viral moment about North (espescially with regards to her fashion sense and ‘brutal honesty’) which they could then use to convince Vogue/Anna [Wintour] to make an exception."
MORE FAN COMMENTS
"I can see them making an exception for North so that the kardashians can call it iconic," one commenter agreed.
Meanwhile, a second revealed: "I just want North to be allowed to be a child and have some privacy."
A third replied to the comment above: "Exactly. Kim needs to stop this s**t with north. North is TEN. Not twenty."
"I don’t like the way they overexpose North and find it weird that these billionaires have her playing on tiktok all day everyday instead of doing some truly enriching activities. It’s so sad," expressed a fourth.
A fifth said: "I think North made a joke. It’s very in line with her personality."
NORTH THE FASHION CRITIC
During episode 9, Kim revealed that North is the "new Joan Rivers" as she was just with her mom to "rate people's outfits."
"She loves to critique," the TV personality explained in a confessional.
In the fitting room, Kim met with Schiaparelli creative director Daniel Roseberry to try on her pearl-laden dress for the red carpet.
While watching her mom get dressed, North said: "There's way too much gaps in the pearls.
"It looks like she's a Hawaiian girl with her dress all ripped."
The pre-teen also claimed that the pearls looked "fake," which prompted Kim to respond.
"No, no, I think you're wrong here," she corrected.
"These are very expensive, real pearls. I think you need a lesson on pearls. We're not going for flapper girl—we're going for vintage, authentic pearly girly."
North continued on to say that she thought the gown was too "beachy" and that the diamond accessories around the neck would "ruin" the outfit.
She told her mother: "I like the pearls. I just don't like that it looks, like, from the Dollar Store."

Daniel was the most stunned by the commentary, telling cameras: "This is my worst nightmare come to life. It's like I'm being Punk'd. The night before the Met, getting read for filth."
But Kim took the opportunity to teach her daughter about manners, telling the little girl: "There's a way to be honest and not to hurt people's feelings. So I want you to learn that."
