I’m a Celeb: Nigel Farage reunites with his girlfriend
Nigel Farage was greeted by his girlfriend Laure Ferrari on the iconic bridge during Sunday’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! The former UKIP leader came in third place ahead of Tony Bellew and Sam Thompson.
After speaking with hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, Nigel made his way across the bridge where his girlfriend was waiting for him. Nigel laughed before asking Laure: “Hello, you alright?”
The former MP went on to quiz Laure on how her shoulder was before the couple embraced in a hug. Laure appeared to say something back to Nigel before she turned to the camera and smiled.
The moment didn’t go unnoticed by viewers at home and many took to social media to question why Nigel walked across the bridge so slowly.
@TVqueertiques tweeted: “Nigel is never showing himself, he is constantly thinking PR… even when he a was a kissing whoever that was on the bridge he was thinking cameras cameras cameras.” (sic)
@cxnerd16 pointed out: “Nigel taking the long way on the bridge for that extra air-time.”
