Strictly: Giovanni Pernice returns during Andrea Bocelli performance
At the beginning of Strictly Come Dancing’s results show, the professional dancers left viewers in tears with their Remembrance Sunday routine.
Kai Widdrington and Lauren Oakley took centre stage to tell the beautiful story along with their fellow Strictly co-stars.
However, it didn’t take fans long to notice that one professional dancer was missing from the performance.
Sharing a clip of the performance to the Strictly Instagram account, the show wrote: “Lest we forget, all those who gave their tomorrow for our today. #Strictly.”
Fans rushed to the comment section to share their thoughts, with many questioning where Nikita was.

The routine also left viewers divided and while some loved it, others weren’t so impressed as one viewer wrote: “I really didn’t like it, so disappointing compared to other years.”
“Such a beautiful tribute to Remembrance Day. Loved Lauren and Kai dancing so elegant. The professional dancers are so brilliant,” one fan said defending the performance.
On Sunday’s elimination show, Krishnan landed in the bottom two with Angela Rippon.
However, after performing again, the judges decided to save Angela and Kai, who have been sent through to Blackpool Week.
When asked by Tess Daly about his time on the show, Krishnan said: “Look this has been the most incredible experience.
“I said it has been life-changing and it genuinely has. I am incredibly grateful to the entire production team, judges, and my incredible Strictly family up there.
“It’s right I am going out this week and I have got to get back to life. The thing that has made Strictly really special is Lauren.
“She is the most incredible teacher, partner, friend. She is the real Strictly star and I am so delighted I am the first partnership you have had. She is going to go a long way and I am very proud of her.”
Strictly Come Dancing returns on Saturday at 6.40pm on BBC One.
