My lazy girl tray bake is like a roast dinner in a pot and perfect if you’re looking to slim down | The Sun

NOW the weather has taken a turn for the worse, it’s time to start thinking about warming recipes to fill you up over the colder months.

And one influencer has come up with a gorgeous pigs in blanket tray bake that’s perfect for autumn evenings.

Even better, the hearty dish has just 240 calories per serving, meaning it’s perfect for those looking to lose a few pounds to slim into their Christmas party dress.

Charlotte Taundry is a nutritionist who shares quick and easy recipes with her 89k Instagram followers.

And her recent reel offers up a dish that has all the comfort of a roast dinner without the hassle of preparing one.

All you need to do is chuck 10 pigs in blankets, 100g of stuffing, a cubed potato, and a sliced carrot and parsnip into a baking tin.

The delicious dish racked up more than 7,000 likes, with users drooling and labelling it the perfect winter warmer.

It’s not the only one of Charlotte’s recipes that’s taken Instagram by storm over the past few weeks.

She recently created a gorgeous sweet chilli halloumi dish with red onions and rice – and the nutritious meal costs just £2.17 a portion.

And for those after an uber-quick mid-week dinner, her five ingredient cheesy chorizo pasta is an absolute no-brainer.

Even sauce-maker Heinz gave the dish their seal of approval, simply commenting: “Dinner sorted.”
