EASTENDERS fans have been left predicting a huge return of one character after a recent emotional exit from the show.
Fans of the BBC soap were left watching the dramatic shenanigans of Walford through gritted teeth last week as Freddie Slater – played by Bobby Brazier – took centre stage in Stacey and Theo's stalking hell story.
Viewers were left on tenterhooks as the BBC One show delivered classic East End drama that saw Freddie swoop in to save Stacey from Theo's unwanted advances.
However, things went from bad to worse for the Slater clan when Freddie knocked Theo out cold before they decided to frame him to make it appear as though Freddie had been attacked by his former teacher.
Despite intially being taken away by the Police, it appears as though Freddie has been left off the hook for now.
Concious of how he might find life in the Square over the next few weeks and worried about triggering his ADHD, Jean suggested that Freddie stay with his mum for a while and forget about Walford until everthing has calmed down.

It saw the youngster heading off as he emotionally departed Albert Square.
Actor Bobby, 20, has taken some time off to compete in Strictly Come Dancing and it is inevitable that he will be back but fans think he won't return alone.
They are convinced show legend Little Mo, Freddie's mum, played by Kacey Ainsworth, will be back alongside her son.
Writing online, one fan said: "Do you think when Freddy does return to the square, he also returns with a surprise return of Little Mo? Even if the return is short stint."

A fellow East End fan quickly agreed, saying: I hope so. To be honest, I think they should have confirmed a little mo return – even for just an episode or two – before they brought the character of Freddie in.
"Kacey Ainsworth seems to have mellowed a bit about a potential return so fingers crossed."
With Kacey currently busy filming the latest series of Grantchester, some fans even suggested that Little Mo could be recast in order for the character to make a huge return.
They said: "It would need to be a recast Little Mo and I would be absolutely fine with."
With another adding: "Honestly she should be recast at this point. Times like now when a character is needed but the actor unavailable the character needs to be recast. End of."
