I’m A Celeb’s first look trailer released as Ant and Dec reveal unusual ‘luxury twist’

The official trailer for the upcoming series of I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! has been released.

The 2023 series of the hit ITV reality show will begin in November, with an exact launch date yet to be confirmed. Ant and Dec will be hosting I'm A Celeb again, with the much-loved duo ready to welcome a new batch of celebrities.

The new 60-second trailer hints at what's in store on this year's series, with a voiceover saying the celebrities will "surrender themselves" to the "ultimate jungle experience".

Ant and Dec can be seen working at a luxury jungle retreat, but all is not as it seems.


The presenting duo can be serving up some signature I'm A Celeb dishes, including fish eyes and rotten smoothies, which regularly featuring in the show's stomach-churning eating trials.

A bath filled with mealworms is also visible in the clip, along with the I'm A Celeb camp's signature hammock beds.

The trailer finishes with Ant and Dec standing on a white sandy beach in their jungle retreat uniforms, as they write "GET ME OUT OF HERE" in the sand.

Though the exact start date is yet to be revealed, it is understood that the brand new series will air during its usual slot at the end of November.

The long-standing reality show set in the wilderness of the Australian jungle will see a fresh new batch of big-name stars battling it out to be crowned this year's King/Queen of the Jungle. The show will be making its return to the jungle for the second year in a row, after it was set in a castle in Wales for two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The current reigning Queen of the Jungle is ex-Lioness Jill Scott, who beat Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner and politician Matt Hancock on last year's series.

Hundreds of thousands of viewers tune in every winter to see a new group of A-listers face their worst fears, as they're confronted by the likes of snakes, spiders, crocodiles, rats and cockroaches during the infamous Bushtucker Trials.

Each challenge – firstly voted for by the public before the campmates can decide for themselves – allows contestants to bag stars, which represent a meal to be brought back to camp, so that their co-stars don't have to survive off rice and beans during the three week stint.
