Inside Love Island star Maxwell Samuda’s ‘mansion’ as he reveals he’s back at normal job a year after leaving the villa | The Sun

LOVE Island star Maxwell Samuda has given fans a glimpse inside his normal home, a year after leaving the villa.

Maxwell, 24, appeared on the ITV2 show's winter edition in January, where he coupled up with Olivia Hawkins.

The pair went their separate ways just weeks after being dumped, with the finance student insisting he wouldn't be chasing fame.

And it looks like he's stuck to his word, as Maxwell shared a video diary to Instagram poking fun at himself.

"A glimpse into the reality of my life," he captioned the vlog, which saw him jokingly call his gaff a "mansion".

The London-native branded himself an "international superstar" and "global icon" in the satirical post.

Maxwell first hinted at plans to stick to his original career while speaking on Johnny Seifert's Secure The Insecure podcast earlier this year.

He revealed: "Right now the way that I see things is if I can have a bit of a combination with both of these areas at the moment then that would be amazing.

"I worked too hard throughout my undergrad and my masters to say that I'm going to have nothing to do with that now.

"But then I have an opportunity with like the show and social media, there's a small bit of influence if there's things that I want to create, it makes it a bit more easier to do that now.

"I got an offer for a graduate job the day that I went to go on Love Island that I accepted so I will still be doing that later in the year."

Maxwell and Shaq recently teamed together to launch events company, The Shaq & Maxwell: Day Party, too.
