What happened to Baby Jean in Emmerdale? | The Sun

DIE hard Emmerdale fans will remember how Zoe Tate and Scott Windsor had a random one night stand back in the noughties.

This resulted in their baby daughter Jean Tate being born, but some viewers may wonder what happened to their tot.

What happened to Baby Jean in Emmerdale?

Jean Tate arrived in the world after her mum Zoe Tate had a one-night stand with fellow Emmerdale resident Scott Windsor in 2003.

Her early life was full of drama and even led to an investigation into her injuries by social services.

While being looked after by babysitter Chloe, Jean was left unsupervised.

Unfortunately the tot was not strapped in her chair properly and she fell on the kitchen table.

Chloe continued to dismiss the new mum's worries as Jean cried all night.

It was later discovered baby Jean had broken a rib.

Shortly after this incident, Jean suffered another injury when a lamp fell on her head.

What happened to Zoe Tate?

Zoe Tate was one of Emmerdale's most iconic characters.

She arrived in the Dales in 1989 and worked as the village vet.

She lived with her father Frank, stepmum Kim and brother Chris at Home Farm.

She later came out as gay and had a serious relationship with Emma Nightingale, with the couple later getting married.

After her brother Liam Hammond was holding him captive and murdered him.

Chris tried to help Zoe cover up the murder but they were unsuccessful.

Luckily for Zoe, the jury concluded her actions as a lawful killing and she was found not guilty.

Zoe was later diagnosed with schizophrenia after becoming depressed and setting a church on fire.

In 2005, Zoe left Emmerdale for a new life down under.
